Global Missions of Mercy (GMM) is dedicated to following God’s Great Commission by feeding the minds, bodies, and souls of impoverished children and families living in the mountain villages of Chiquimula, Guatemala.
A Passion for People
Global Missions of Mercy, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit corporation and all donations are tax deductible. Global Missions of Mercy, Inc schools admit students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
School
Highland Park Christian School offers a free educational opportunity that otherwise would not be available for children in the mountain village. Grades K-9 offer basic curriculum as well as Biblical teaching. Future vision has students training in technical and trade skills that will allow them opportunities in careers such as plumbing, woodworking and cosmetology.
Feeding Center
The feeding center provides a nutritious breakfast and lunch to the children of Lela Obraje on Monday-Friday throughout the year. For those who would otherwise go hungry, this program enables these little ones to flourish as their spirits, minds, and bodiesare being fed.
Bible Studies
Ministry Director, Sarita Carson, leads a weekly women’s Bible study. Currently, there are 45 women who attend on a regular basis. Ministry Assistant, Jorge Camposeco, faithfully teaches a men’s Bible study that is regularly attended by 30 men from the surrounding area. Carson and Camposeco not only share the Good News of the Gospel, but encourage spiritual growth through the disciplines of prayer, Bible study, worship, and fellowship.
